A weekend of gardening and foodie fun is being planned in Gainsborough this June with activities taking place across the town.
The Gainsborough Garden and Food Festival will be held on Friday June 7th to Sunday June 9th with a packed programme of demonstrations and a range of traders from the popular Continental Street Market event, as well as a host of local and regional producers.
Special celebrity guests throughout the three day event will include the Michelin Star Chef Jean-Christophe Novelli and the CBeebies presenter Katy Ashworth. Madame Zucchini, from Britain’s Got Talent, will also be running some fun children’s workshops.
The event will take place in Market Place, Market Street, Lord Street and Church Street in the town centre will additional activities and entertainment at Marshall’s Yard.
Madame Zucchini will be appearing at this years Hayfield May Queen, in the parade, and then on the field performing one of her infamous Veg theatre shows and offering you the chance to be creative with veg!
Food Glorious Food is the theme so look out for lots of food based fun from all in the parade!
Madame Zucchini will be at the Endeavour Project in Sheffield, delivering workshops for young people on how fantastic Vegetables, with veg creativity as part of the mornings activities. Also includes hints and tips on how to make it in the Veg entertainment world
