And all beneath the glow of the amazing Helios exhibition, you can get creative at drop-in workshops, swap you old clothes for new-to-you clothes (for free!), have a go at upcycling furniture, and enjoy theatrical performances, puppetry and sustainable fashion shows – sun guaranteed! There will be plenty of stalls, too, where you can find out useful information. Why not come on your bike and drop into our cycle repair shop while you’re here!

Come along to Jubilee Park and make a marvellous fairy or goblin vegetable creature with Mme Zucchini: all vegetables and materials provided for this family friendly activity, and you can take your creation away with you.

ABOUT
Haphazard is our frequent foray into ‘all ages’ Live Art, with intriguing images and offbeat oddities dotted around and about Hulme’s historic Z-arts building.
This eighth edition will present eight works — Haphazard has previously seen ping pong balls & squeaky toys; a singing fish & a sax-playing bear; paintball golf & human quoits; a giant periscope, a lonely wookie, a golden toilet, clown-dancing, and a tiny bee-shaped world…
Back for the ninth time by popular demand (whoo!) , Mme Zucchini will once again bring her own unique brand of Vegetable entertainment to this lovely event with a very regal atmosphere
You will find her gazebo in the food stall area near the church - come and make a vegetable creature with her or watch a show. And who knows, you may even see her on walkabout in one of her wonderful veg costumes.
Usually a scorcher, so bring your sunhat!
