Playful, quirky, engaging, and sometimes plain daft: Haphazard is for kids and their adults, adults and their adults — anyone looking for a different day out!

A free Live Art takeover of Z-arts on Saturday 2 August from 1pm to 4pm. Turn up at any time, come and go as you please… and expect the unexpected!

ABOUT

Haphazard is our frequent foray into ‘all ages’ Live Art, with intriguing images and offbeat oddities dotted around and about Hulme’s historic Z-arts building.

This eighth edition will present eight works — Haphazard has previously seen ping pong balls & squeaky toys; a singing fish & a sax-playing bear; paintball golf & human quoits; a giant periscope, a lonely wookie, a golden toilet, clown-dancing, and a tiny bee-shaped world…

Back for the ninth time by popular demand (whoo!) , Mme Zucchini will once again bring her own unique brand of Vegetable entertainment to this lovely event with a very regal atmosphere

You will find her gazebo in the food stall area near the church - come and make a vegetable creature with her or watch a show. And who knows, you may even see her on walkabout in one of her wonderful veg costumes.

Usually a scorcher, so bring your sunhat!

Mme Zucchini is a special guest at the Teddy Bears Picnic in Ecclesfield Park, with the sounds of the Police Band to entertain you too

Mme Zucchini returns to the folk festival, and will be performing her legendary Vegetable based show and offering a chance to take part in a Veg craft workshop. Look out for her gazebo on the green at the Memorial Church in Holmfirth. on Saturday 10 May

FN@WP5 , a local cabaret for local people, hosted by Cabaret Boom Boom team, Mr Lodge , Mr Maynard, Madame Zucchini and Trevor Organ.

A hilarious mix of music, circus and unknown talent to celebrate this years Walkley Festival.
