Can Do X Sheffood Good Food Conversations

  • Live works 108 The Moor Sheffield, England, S1 4PD United Kingdom (map)

Can Do South Yorkshire have kindly offered ShefFood the Live Works space on The Moor to host a day of public conversation.

This will be an informal opportunity for anyone interested to engage in conversation exploring key 'good food' issues. You are welcome to drop in any time for as little or as long as you want.

Conversation #1 - 10am-1pm - Good Food and the Climate Emergency
What role does changing how we grow, cook, buy, sell and eat food play in tackling the climate emergency. A key focus will be developing the role of food within the Can Do 'big bid'.

Conversation #2 - 2pm-4pm - Skills & Training for Good Food
At school, college, university, the workplace, the community and at home - what are the challenges and opportunities for everyone around skills and training for good food? A key focus will be establishing a 'good food' skills & training working group and development strategy.

There will be free tea, coffee, juice, healthy snacks and yummy fruit cake available all day.

...And for some vegetable fun, experience Madame Zucchini's amazing world of vegetables, make a veg eco hero, and find out how the Veg Avengers team up with Greta Iceberg to save Beanworld!
